Weir River Concert Band will perform traditional and more modern works to celebrate the holiday season. A multi-generational ensemble of woodwinds, brass and percussion, directed by John P. Sacco, the Weir River Concert Band provides an opportunity to perform for musicians of all ages and from many communities in Worcester and Hampshire Counties.
A Big Band Christmas by Weir River Jazz
2 pm on Sunday, December 18, 2022*
Weir River Jazz, a classic Big Band jazz ensemble, will perform a lively selection of holiday music with high-energy and tuneful jazz improvisations, also directed by John P. Sacco, music educator, U.S. Air Force veteran decorated for Gallantry in Action, and alto saxophonist.
Weir River concerts are free to the public. Optional donations to Friends of the Stone Church are very welcome. *These dates are final, revised from prior announcements.
