The Friends of the Stone Church will offer a FREE Fun Day with Art for children of all ages.  Local artists and crafters will instruct and encourage participants in water color painting, creative writing, photography, knitting and sewing, and scarecrow construction.  Instructors include published author Lisa Cohen, knitting mavin Pamela Hinckley, artists Judy Kohn and Cheryl Wolfe, photo-journalist Kim Mongeau, and art and dance instructor Kathy McCrohon.

Students will be encouraged to create projects for the Hardwick Fair, or just come and have fun!  

Lemonade and popcorn will be available.

To have enough supplies for all participants, we ask that you, preregister at: or call Kathy McCrohon at 508-404-7552 before June 10, 2022. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Writing, Poetry Explore the magic of words with writer and poet Lisa Janice Cohen

Sewing, Knitting Learn the basics in this fun class with Pamela Hinkley

Watercolor Given colors and brush, learn to make pictures glow with your story and reflect your spirit: Such fun! Judy Kohn

Scarecrow Build a found object scarecrow for the Hardwick Fair or your own backyard. Cheryl Wolfe

Rock Painting Everybody loves to paint rocks.  Blend together paints, glitter, gems and markers to make the unique rock that suits your liking. Kathy McCrohon

Photography Express your view of the world with an experienced photographer and writer. Bring your phone; cameras will be provided. Kim Ring
