Peter KrasinskiIn this production, Mr. Krasinski brings the classic movie vibrantly to life with his original music, performed on the 1874 Johnson & Son tracker organ in the Gilbertville Stone Church. The program is FOSC’s third presentation of Mr. Krasinski accompanying silent films, and is ideal for multi-generational family audiences.

Herbert Brenon directed this first film adaptation of J. M. Barrie’s 1904 play Peter Pan, or the Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up. Betty Bronson stars as Peter Pan; Ernest Torrence as Captain Hook (think Malificent with a moustache); Mary Bryant as winsome Wendy Darling; and Anna May Wong as Tiger Lily.

Peter Edwin Krasinski holds a dual Bachelor of Music in music education and organ performance and a Master of Sacred Music, both from Boston University. He is broadly recognized as a motivating consultant for the pipe organ community, and as a conductor, organist and music educator whose imaginative and energetic performances elevate and inform audiences. Along with regular concert appearances, he specializes in live improvised silent film accompaniment, and has premiered the art in major venues worldwide. He is the recipient of the First Prize in Improvisation from the American Guild of Organists National Competition. Critics have hailed his silent film performances as “a great marriage of movie and music.”
