Friends of the Stone Church and the Hardwick Historical Society proudly announce “New Views of Gilbertville,” a juried photography contest and exhibit with cash prizes. The collaborating presenters invite photographers to shed new light on Gilbertville village by taking original photos of its historic architecture. Thanks to our many supporters, and with help from a second matching grant from the Massachusetts Historical Commission, the Friends have been able to contract for a formal engineering assessment of the steeple of the Stone Church—and to plan for beginning the restoration work the inspectors recommend.
